Giving back to the community is an important part of our mission here at St. Stephens.
Please contemplate what ministry you may like to be a part of, or if you have a gift
you'd like to share through a new ministry, let us know!
Four Seasons is a new ministry just getting started at St. Stephen’s. Our mission is to help clothe needy children in seasonally appropriate attire by soliciting, collecting, cleaning and distributing new and like new clothing four times a year (once per season). We are targeting helping children within the Town of Warwick, which encompasses Warwick, Florida and Greenwood Lake. To ensure we are helping those most in need, families would qualify for this program if they are already part of the free or reduced-rate lunch program through the school system.
In order to obtain the clothing to provide to those children who qualify, Four Seasons is soliciting clothing donations through various outreach methods including St. Stephen’s and other local churches, Warwick Parenting Facebook groups, and the local schools. Utilizing volunteers, the donated clothing will be collected, washed, dried, ironed, sorted by gender/size/season and then stored in a donated space. Distribution of the donated clothing will take place four times per year (once per season). Each season 5-6 outfits will be curated for each child enrolled in the program and distributed on the following schedule:
- February Delivery - Spring Clothing
- May Delivery - Summer Clothing
- August Delivery - Fall Clothing
- November Delivery - Winter Clothing
If you have clothing that no longer fits your little one, please consider donating them to Four Seasons. Children’s Clothing Donation Drop-Off Events will take place monthly at St. Stephen’s the First Martyr Church. Follow-us on Facebook @FourSeasonsKids to find out when the next donation event is taking place and to for how to sign-up!
Please note that Four Seasons takes donations of children’s clothing ONLY newborn to size 12. Please no shoes, toys, stuffed animals, blankets, towels, etc. Clothing should be gently used/like new (or new) with no stains, holes, pills, pulls, etc. Any amount of clothing for any season can be dropped off at each donation event.

Men of our Parish - You are Invited to Join Us for Fellowship
The St. Stephen Men’s Fellowship helps men in St. Stephen's parish and the community grow in their spiritual life, their jobs, and every aspect of their lives as men. During the monthly meetings men take time to share informally what is on their hearts and to receive feedback from others. This cultivates intimacy among the brethren plus transparency and accountability. Men will also discuss and challenge each other regarding acting upon God's leading in serving others. We have frequent guest speakers, presentations, fresh-brewed coffee and donuts and/or other pastries.
Meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month at 7:45am in the church atrium.
For information contact Dr. Dom Cappelleri - drdomcapp@yahoo.com.
Even though our ministry is not open for in-person service, Mother's Cupboard is still operating. If any new moms are in need of any baby supplies, they are asked to contact Joanna Tower at the parish office. Supplies are able to be delivered to clients homes or brought to the Warwick or Florida food pantries for pickup.

Why Knots Blanket Ministry at St. Stephens Church
Meeting in the Cafeteria
Please rejoin us in our ministry of making blankets to be donated to local hospitals and other places in need. This min- istry is open to all ages. All you need to know how to do is to cut and tie knots. This is a Ministry to Mary. We will be creating fleece blankets by cutting and tying knots. The knots represent the knots in our lives and we will ask Mary to pray for us and help us to untie those knots.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring:
2 coordinating pieces of fleece (baby: 1 yard of each color, child: 1.5 yards of each color, adult: 2 yards of each color) Ruler and yard stick, Sharp Scissors, or a monetary donation ($15 to $20) to help supply materials.
You are welcome to make blankets at home and bring them to the church office for community service hours or if you can’t make a meeting.
To sign up or for more information please contact Shauna Smith at sssmith04@outlook.com or cell 845-641-5745.
