Generosity, Prayer and Service: The Heart of our Parish Community
As members of St. Stephen the First Martyr, we are called to live out three essential aspects of our faith: generosity, prayer, and service. These values shape our parish community and strengthen our bonds as we follow Christ together.
Generosity is not just about giving money, but about offering our time, talents, and hearts to others. It’s seen in the ways we support each other, from volunteering for parish events to helping those in need. Our parish thrives because of the generous contributions of so many, and this spirit of giving is a true reflection of God’s love for us.
Prayer is the foundation of our parish life. Whether it’s during Mass, the rosary, or personal moments of reflection, prayer connects us to God and each other. It’s through prayer that we seek guidance, offer thanks, and bring our intentions before the Lord. Our parish community gathers regularly to pray together, strengthening our collective faith.
Service is about living our faith through action. It’s how we put our love for God and neighbor into practice. Whether through outreach programs, helping at Mass, or supporting those facing hardships, service is a way we show Christ’s love in the world. In serving others, we fulfill the call to be His hands and feet.
