Through the Being Kind Foundation, I endeavor to help with the education of 45 underprivileged Christian children in the Gajapati district of Odisha, India. $150 provides each child study materi- als, school uniforms, shoes, sweater, umbrella, water-bottle, hostel fees and tuition fees for the year. Last summer we received 31 sponsorships and other donations from St. Stephen’s parishioners and were able to provide for all 45 children.
So that you may see that we have been faithful to the purpose for which we collected the sponsorships and donations last year, please go to https://www.facebook.com/BeingKindIndia to see photos of the children receiving the study materials.
Therefore, on behalf of the Being Kind Foundation, I would be very grateful to all of you if you could help these children this year also either by sponsoring the one child for the whole year or partly by making some donation. I know that is a big amount but you can bring smiles on the faces of these children by making whatever donations you can. It really GIVES them a big HOPE! Checks may be made payable to Being Kind Foundation and dropped off in the church office.
Thank you to Fr. Jack and all the parishioners of St. Stephen’s for you your generosity in help- ing these children and their families.

THANK YOU!
Dear friends, donors and well-wishers,
On behalf of “Being Kind Foundation” and the poor Christian children of Adava, Jhiliki and Mohana villages of Gajapati District of Odisha state in India, I sincerely would like to thank Fr Jack and all of you from the Parish of St. Stephen, for all your generous contributions to support my foundation and thereby giving a better future to the poor children.
I know that my words of gratitude cannot qualify themselves to be on par with the generosity which all of you have shown me in kind actions. However, I can only humbly say that I can assure you of my promise to be faithful to the purpose of your gener- osity by showing you in action how your generosity is going to make a great difference in the life of these children.
Hence as soon as I came to Rome I have already transferred your financial contribution to my foundation account in India for the purchase of School bags, writing notebooks, school shoes/sleepers, geometry box, some special books for the annual exams of children studying above Class IV, um- brella, Sweater/winter clothes for all the children, uniforms for private schools students (Hindu school like “Saraswati Shishu Mandir” only for quality education and Christian schools and hostels like mission schools/Baptist schools for all good purpose though but far from the villages)/spare uniform for the government school children, to pay the admis- sion and hostel fees for the children studying in the above private schools. The purchase is in progress and hopefully in the second week of October the above things will be supplied to the children.
I will try my best to use every single contribution to bring smiles to the faces of these children while I will keep you updated with videos and photos. Once again I express my immense gratitude to all of you.
