Lenten Food Drive to support the GWL and Florida Food Pantries
Throughout Lent we will have a box in the atrium for donations. All nonperishable food items and toiletries are welcome. Please put your donations in the box in the atrium. The box in the vestibule of the front door of the church supports the Warwick Food Pantry.
Some requested items for the pantries:
Please don't limit items to this!
Cake mixes
Cake frosting
Brownie mixes
Tomato sauce
Tomato paste
Boxed au gratin or scalloped potatoes
Canned ravioli
Canned mushrooms
Size 5 and 6 diapers (I am trying to find out if there are some of these at the Warwick Food Pantry that they can give them)
We will deliver donations weekly and keep a tally of the weight of donated items. Please help us collect 1000 pounds of food!

The Food Bank of the Hudson Valley works all year round to provide food for those in our community who are in need, no matter the reason for the need.
Lent is a wonderful time to truly perform works of mercy - a few hours in a day for us turns into a gift for others. If you wonder what the impact might be, look no further than this letter written to the Food Bank expressing gratitude.
Start this Lent, and you may find yourself wanting to make this a part of your mission throughout the year!

Shifts last two hours, and volunteers can sign up for multiple shifts. A short orientation at the beginning of each shift will be held to brief on the process and distribution of responsibilities.
