Steve will be Master of Ceremonies at the November 11 Conference.
A veteran musician, composer, and keynote speaker, Steve has been featured at ten World Youth Days, Emceed 3 National Catholic Youth Conferences (NCYC 05,07,09) and in 2021 was part of the main stage general sessions, serving as the Choir Director for the Youth Scola. Steve has lead the house band for the “Christ Our Life” conference in Des Moines, IA since 2016. He has served as a keynote speaker for the Australian Youth Festival in 2017 and 2019. He was honored to serve as Emcee when Pope John Paul II visited St Louis in 1999. Steve has presented primary talks, music and workshops at the Prolife Rally in Washington DC, Franciscan University Conferences, The National Pastoral Musicians Conference, National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry, Los Angeles Religious Education Conference and countless other events. Still, Steve’s passion, heart and daily work is dedicated to presenting Parish Missions, leading groups to the Holy Land, and 25 years composing music for Oregon Catholic Press.
We've assembled a pretty terrific lineup of Catholic speakers for the regional conference, Satisfy Your Soul Nourish Your Neighbor, Eucharist in Service being held at St. Stephen the First Martyr on November 11. Today we are introducing you to Ellen Miller, who is a volunteer coordinator for Mary's Meals. Ellen has travelled countless times to Malawi to be among those children who are served by Mary's Meals. See more of Ellen's story below. We are thrilled that she will be joining the conference from her home in Iowa!
St. Stephen's has been supporting Mary's Meals in Malawi since 2014. We are excited to partner with Mary's Meals at the Catholic Conference and to share the good works and mission of this movement that is changing lives for the better!
We are pleased to introduce you to Fr. Chris Argano, Pastor at St. Mary's in Washingtonville and St. Columba in Chester. Fr. Chris will be one of the November 11 presenters, being held at St. Stephen Parish.
His talk is titled, " Become What You Receive, Marriage and the Priesthood Through the Lens of the Eucharist." Watch the short video to learn why Fr. Chris chose to introduce this important topic.

We are excited to introduce you to the Sisters of Life. The Sisters of Life, founded in 1991 by John Cardinal O'Connor, is a contemplative/active religious community dedicated to “the protection and enhancement of the sacredness of every human life.”
Two of the Sisters of Life will be with us on November 11at the Catholic Conference, Satisfy Your Soul Nourish Your Neighbor, Eucharist in Service, Sr. Anne Marie Elizabeth and Sr. Mary Margaret Hope.
Sister Anne Marie Elizabeth, 33, holds a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance and accounting and global perspectives and a master’s in accounting, both from Bentley University in Waltham, Mass. Before entering the Sisters of LIfe, she worked for the GIVEN Institute, the national March for Life, and as a CPA at a public accounting firm in Boston. She is the daughter of Mark and Mary Beth Warner, and the oldest of five siblings.
Sister Mary Margaret Hope was raised in Toronto, the daughter of Reginald and Mary McLean and sister to Joseph. She studied astrophysics and astronomy while completing a B.S. at Queen’s University before moving on to Harvard to earn a Masters and begin her PhD work.
