Dear friends and well-wishers,
As Mother Teresa once said, “We cannot do great things, but we can do small things with great love.” I along with two of my brothers have been doing whatever we can to help the poor children of our locality with their education, providing them with their tuition fees and basic study materials. This has been made possible only because of all of you at St. Stephen’s, who never hesitated to extend your hands to reach out to the poor children across the seas and oceans. I would be very grateful to all of you if you kindly continue to do so this year too.
Update: We currently have donations to take care of 42 children; we have 15 children left to provide for.
$150 will cover the cost of education for one year for one child. Please be generous with your donations.
I have two boys (one is an orphan) and one girl from poor families who want to go for their Bachelor’s in Medicine and Bachelor’s of Surgery (MBBS). You would be surprised to hear that, in the whole of our diocese and locality, we don’t even have a single Catholic or Christian doctor. It is education for rich kids and so a daydream for poor children. But we can do it and send these 3 children to study medicine, if all of us can contribute whatever we can. Therefore, I need your help.
Annual cost of medical study for one child: $3,000 annually (5 years course for 3 children).
We need your generous support and the benevolence of the St. Stephen’s community to help these children realize their goals. If you have any questions, concerns or want more details about this important fundraising effort, please contact me.
Donations should be made out to Jeesaya Nayak and delivered to the St. Stephen’s parish office. Thank you so much for your continued support and generosity!
